Study: One Billion Virtual World Users in Next 10 Years
According to the study titled ”Market Forecasts for Virtual World Experiences,” 22 % of global broadband users will register for one or more virtual worlds over the next 10 years, bringing the total amount of users across worlds to 1 billion (not to be confused with the number of total registered accounts that should increase at least to 3/4 times that figure, given the growing multi-world usage) Read on at Game Daily
