Connecting Worlds

Hullo Myrlers, 

it’s time for an update. During the past four weeks we have been working hard developing new features and fixing quite a lot of bugs.

Here’re some of the brand new features online now:

• - Friends invites (supporting import from Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail, Msn)
• - External Blog integration into our Myrl blogs: this is not just a fetch! Posting on your external blog will now generate automatically a blog post in your Myrl blog and a Myrl News that all the Metaverse can Myrl and comment (”Edit Preferences”:http://www.myrl.com/my-area/edit_profile in your profile, check the bottom section)
• - RSS feed integration for Images and Video to publish automatically your Koinup, Youtube and Flickr stream (”Edit Preferences”:http://www.myrl.com/my-area/edit_profile in your profile, check the bottom section)
• - Twitter integration: a new feedbox in our profile displays realtime updates from Twitter
• - Share it feature enabled for every item

Also, some other nice things coming up next:

• - MYRL IT button, to post items into Myrl from external sites (deployed but not enabled until public beta launch)
• - SL friends invite from MYRL (deployed but not enabled until public beta launch)
• - MYRL RSS Feed: A unique feed for all our Myrl entries that allows us to show what we’re posting here on blogs and external platforms (deployed but not enabled until public beta launch)

…and of course, more Worlds supported

We know it’s quite a lot of stuff, and it’s still a small part of what we are working on to build the first integrated network of virtual worlds!
